Job Description:

This is a Management Trainee position in Finance at Siemens Mobility. The role involves a structured rotational training program across key finance functions. It is designed to groom high-potential Chartered Accountants into future finance leaders by giving hands-on exposure to core finance operations, financial planning, compliance, and business decision support.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, costing, taxation, and audits.
• Understanding of Ind AS, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

• Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis (FP&A): Assist in annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling forecasts; perform variance analysis, cost tracking, and performance reviews; prepare MIS dashboards, management reports, and decision-support presentations; analyze key business drivers.
• Accounting, Controllership & Financial Reporting: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities; ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
• Working Capital Management: Analyze cash flows, working capital metrics, and fund utilization; support risk management and financial controls.
• Internal Audit, Risk & Process Improvement: Participate in internal audits, process reviews, and risk assessments; identify control gaps and recommend process improvements and automation.
• Cross-Functional & Strategic Projects: Work on digitization and automation initiatives; collaborate with business, operations, and leadership teams on finance transformation projects; drive continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting efficiency.
