Job Description:
Flex is hiring Associate Software Engineers – IT in Chennai for its technology team. This is an entry-level opportunity aimed at engineering graduates who are curious about technology, enjoy solving problems and want to work on practical business projects. The current role covers areas such as AI and Generative AI, data analytics, business automation, cloud technologies, application development and digital workplace technologies.
The role is not limited to traditional software development. Candidates may get exposure to different technology initiatives and work with global stakeholders while learning how technology can be used to solve real business problems.
Flex is specifically looking for candidates who are willing to learn, adapt quickly and use modern AI tools as part of their learning, coding, research and problem-solving activities.
Qualifications & Skills :
- •Bachelor’s degree in Computer science engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS)
- Strong understanding of Programming Fundamentals & OOP Concepts, Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks & Operating Systems, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Basic Cloud Concepts
- •Knowledge of one or more programming languages is preferred: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript. SQL
- •Should demonstrate interest in Generative AI technologies.
- •Have exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms.
- •Understand how AI can improve productivity, learning, coding, research, and problem-solving.
- •Be able to showcase projects, use cases, or practical applications where AI tools were leveraged.
- •Active use of AI for learning, innovation, and problem-solving will have an added advance
