Job Description:
Wipro is hiring for the position of Trainee in Gurugram (Haryana). This is an entry-level role ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who want to start their journey in software design and development. The role focuses on designing, developing, and troubleshooting solutions, designs, models, and simulations using various software tools as per client or project requirements. You’ll get exposure to CAD, CAE, and other engineering software while working on real client projects. It’s a great opportunity to build foundational skills in a global IT services environment with hands-on work in modeling, simulation, and problem-solving.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Education: Wipro are typically open to engineering graduates (BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech) in Mechanical, Design, or related streams.
- Experience: Fresher / Entry-level (0–1 year experience).
- Mandatory Skills: Strong fundamentals in Software Development.
- Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools for modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of design principles, prototyping, stress analysis, impact analysis, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Good problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and develop models, simulations, and solutions using CAD/CAE and other software as per client specifications and project plans.
- Create prototypes based on engineering drawings and perform various analyses (stress, impact, boundary conditions, etc.).
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new requirements and provide optimized virtual simulations.
- Test designs, troubleshoot issues, debug, and fix defects to ensure high quality and efficiency.
- Develop software verification plans, quality procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide timely customer support, resolve integration issues, and incorporate user feedback.
- Maintain proper documentation, prepare weekly/monthly status reports, and keep track of time-sheets.
- Continuously identify improvements, implement enhancements, and stay updated with latest software features for better cost-effectiveness.
