Job Description:
Thomson Reuters is currently hiring for the position of Associate Software Test Engineer at their Bengaluru, Karnataka office. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals aiming to build a career in software testing and development.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Education Level: Graduation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure Devops ADO Test Plans
- Accessibility testing WCAG
- Ability to understand low-complexity business requirements and translate them into coding
- Ability to interpret code and solve problems based on existing good practices and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Executes on delivering technical solutions for routine, low complexity projects
- Supports Engineers/Sr. Engineers on more complex projects
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
- Translates technical requirements and design documentation into application code and modules. May provide technical support to operations or other development teams
- Actively participates in internal team and status meetings.
- Develops software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to industry standards and software best practice guidelines.
- Delivering technical solutions for routine, low-complexity projects.
- Supporting senior engineers on more complex projects.
- Translating technical requirements and design documentation into application code and modules.
- Providing technical support to operations or other development teams.
- Participating actively in internal team and status meetings.
