Job Description:

The Graduate Engineering Trainee – Mechanical position at Samsung C&T India Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time entry-level role focused on gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design, project coordination, and technical review for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. It’s ideal for fresh graduates interested in real-world engineering, emphasizing safety, cost efficiency, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Trainees will work alongside experienced engineers on mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and piping, using tools like Revit MEP.

Qualifications & Skills :

Qualification: BE / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Graduates with Revit – MEP
Certification (Compulsory)

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
Hands-on experience or training with Revit MEP.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and safety.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced project setting.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Develop the design to incorporate safety measures to be used both during construction and permanently by the Owner.
Develop and implement the Constructability Review Process.
Understand the estimate and ensure design team stays within budget. Assist in value management/ engineering to stay within budget. Ensure all approved trend estimates are incorporated into the drawings.
Manage the change estimate process during the design phase. Help the project team resolve all cost issues once the design is complete.
Ensure proper documentation of all Design Meeting Minutes, Design Packages, Design Changes, etc.
Develop and maintain the design schedule that supports the project schedule. Ensure the designers, including design-build subcontractors, are meeting the schedule. Visit the different offices to see the work being completed. Manage the Owner to ensure the design schedule is met.
To discuss or send RFI to get solution of design matter.
To check and review the Design drawing, Construction drawing, Specification, and design calculation.
To check and review Tender Drawing, Specification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
