Job Description:
This is a Staff Consultant role at Oracle, specifically focused on Java Application Developer with Core Banking. - You possess knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite
Experience
- Experience of 1 to 4 years with at least 1 year in primary skill areas
- Experience in development and / or implementation and / or support of core banking applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 1 – 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (core Java, J2EE, Spring frameworks likely key).
- Solid expertise in application development for core banking systems—knowledge of banking processes (like loans, deposits, payments) is a big plus.
- Experience with Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle Database, PL/SQL, WebLogic) and banking products like FLEXCUBE.
- Strong problem-solving, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Good understanding of integration, security, performance tuning in financial apps.
- Preferred: Certifications in Java or Oracle products, exposure to microservices, cloud (OCI), Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

- Design, develop, and customize Java applications for core banking solutions.
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement features.
- Integrate Oracle banking platforms with client systems, ensuring compliance and scalability.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Support implementation, migration, and upgrades for banking clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, testers, project managers).
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and post-go-live support.
