Job Description:

Northern Trust is currently hiring for the Analyst – 1 position at their Bangalore and Pune offices. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience, particularly those with a background in commerce or finance.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • A College or University degree in commerce /or 0-1 year of relevant work experience in financial domain.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required
  • Working knowledge on MS-Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Basic Functional / Industry Knowledge is preferred
  • Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the financial industry and related processes.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

  • Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions within established guidelines.
  • Follows the incident/regulatory breach(operational risks) arising from processes reporting procedure with rigor
  • Running and creating formal reports. Creating and executing function specific reports.
  • Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job
  • Works effectively as a team member but also independently
  • Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines
  • Tracks trends within the daily deliverables(SLA/KRA) and work along with supervisor to enhance their processes / procedures knowledge.
  • Handles resolution of issue highlights issues to the supervisors/experts
  • Ensures day to day deliverables are met. Checklists are to be prepared and submitted to the next level on a daily basis.
