Program Description
We’re seeking Interns to join our Technology Division for the Summer Program. This is a 2-month internship program designed as an opportunity to learn more about the important role that Technology plays within the Firm. This structured program is designed to give interns insight into this division and an opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills needed to develop an exciting and rewarding career. The training will continue throughout the course of the program with structured learning sessions run by senior executives.
Morgan Stanley – Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Academic Standing: Be a current student, often in your penultimate year of study (e.g., graduating in 2026).
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant programming languages, software, or technology concepts.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in Finance and Technology: A genuine interest in the intersection of finance and technology.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Interest and aptitude for technology coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding academic record along with success in summer jobs, internships, and extracurricular activities, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with others.
- Experience in at least one of the programming languages among Java/C++/C# /C, strong hold on algorithms and data structures, and have knowledge of OOPS and Unix
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Training and Development: Analysts receive comprehensive training on both technical skills and industry knowledge, often including workshops, seminars, and hands-on projects.
- Project Work: Interns work on real-world projects, contributing to ongoing technology initiatives at Morgan Stanley. This might involve software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, or other tech-related tasks.

What you’ll do in the role:
The program has been designed to develop highly motivated technologists who partner with the business to solve complex problems through technology. On joining, you will go through a training program that covers technology training as well as an overview of the financial services industry. There are senior manager presentations and professional skills workshops along the way as well to provide you with a well-rounded experience.
Interns spend the 2 months working on live projects, sponsored by business aligned technology groups seeking technical solutions to real business needs. Projects are designed to integrate business concepts
and technical skills, reinforce values through teamwork, and provide smooth transition to future work groups. The projects are presented to senior management and provide a firsthand experience of working on a project from inception to delivery.
