Job Description:
As an IT Specialist at Infineon Technologies, you will be part of the global Information Technology team supporting digital transformation and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll help design, deliver, and maintain technology solutions that drive business value, improve processes, and support secure IT operations. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure systems and services run smoothly, reliably, and in line with Infineon’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience in IT operations, software development, system support, or a related technology environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and service delivery models.
- Experience with enterprise tools and platforms (cloud services, databases, networks, or similar).
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP, cloud platform migrations, automation).
- Basic scripting or programming skills are beneficial.
- 1-2 years of software development experience
- Experience with programming using Python, Golang or C/C++
- Experience with cloud technologies like, OpenShift, Docker, Server less, etc
- Experience with Alerting and Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Jager etc
- Basic experience with middleware like RabbitMQ, Kafka etc
- Basic knowledge about big data solutions like Elastic
- Basic knowledge about Analytical and Reporting solutions like Tableau, Grafana etc
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Develop (including front-end, back-end and DevOps) cloud native applications using microservice architecture.
- Manage the full lifecycle of code changes from development to deployment, including code reviews, testing and operations.
- Implement robust monitoring and logging mechanisms using tools like Prometheus, ELK stack.
- Manage user community
