Job Description:

The Controllers team ensures accuracy and compliance of the firm’s financial and regulatory reporting globally. They oversee profit & loss, valuation, capital, liquidity, and reputational risk, supporting business planning and control functions across the firm’s entities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified CA in May 2025
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Basic industry knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel

Roles and Responsibilities :

Prepare daily, monthly, and periodic Profit & Loss statements, ensuring alignment between front office systems, sub-ledger, and the general ledger.
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, manage intercompany settlements, daily funding, and investigate/reconcile breaks.
Execute SOX control procedures and perform balance sheet substantiation tasks.
Conduct independent valuation reviews, particularly for illiquid and alternative assets.
Support preparation and submission of financial statements and regulatory disclosures in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP.
Partner with Risk, Tax, Treasury, Operations, IT, Compliance, Product Control, and Front Office teams to resolve accounting inquiries.
Identify and drive process improvements through automation, system enhancements, and strategic projects.
Monitor trading activity, perform price verification on financial instruments, and ensure trading desks are supported with accurate control.
Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors for compliance and reporting purposes
