Roles and Responsibilities :
Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting the team with processing, reporting, and keeping things running smoothly. Here’s the main stuff you’d handle:
- Daily monitoring of positions to spot potential disclosure triggers (Long, Short, Takeover Panel).
- Validating data across systems—like positions, transactions, and corporate actions—for accuracy.
- Preparing and validating disclosure reports, then getting them ready for submission.
- Generating routine position reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and managing any exceptions or queries.
- Investigating and fixing trade breaks or position mismatches through reconciliations.
- Responding to requests from issuers about shareholding info, following guidelines.
- Escalating issues quickly and working with Trading, Middle Office, and Tech teams to resolve them.
- Keeping strong controls in place to manage risks.
- Spotting ways to improve processes, contributing to projects, and staying on top of industry trends.
Accountabilities
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
