Job Description:

The QA & Support Engineer role at Dassault Systèmes focuses on maintaining software quality and helping users resolve technical issues. The role involves testing applications, identifying software defects, troubleshooting problems and collaborating with development teams to improve product performance and reliability. Candidates may also assist with test documentation, issue tracking and validating software fixes. This position is suitable for candidates interested in software testing, quality assurance, application support and problem-solving. Freshers with a good understanding of software fundamentals, analytical skills and a willingness to learn can build a strong foundation for a career in software quality engineering and technical support.

Qualifications & Skills :

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering fields
0-3 Years of functional testing experience
Knowledge of testing web based applications is desired
Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage
Knowledge of testing, SDLC, Bug reporting, Bug lifecycle etc. would be desired
Good communication skills
Testing certifications if any would be an advantage (ISTQB, QAI etc.)
Ability to investigate and find root cause of problem
Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
Strong problem solving skills
Good academic record
Customer Support experience/exposure is expected
Knowledge & experience of Automation testing is an added advantage
Exposure to DevOps would be an added advantage
Good knowledge of application support process is an advantage

Functional testing of Web based & standalone applications
Application Support – Level 2
Communicate with local and remote team members, appropriate stakeholders and customers as needed
Work on large scale software systems

You need the ability to solve tough problems that require innovative solutions
