Job Description:
As a Data Analyst (SQL-focused), you will work on data analysis, reporting, ETL processes, and supporting business intelligence solutions. The role involves translating business needs into data-driven insights, maintaining production systems, and working with tools like SQL Server, Azure services, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar. It is often hybrid/on-site in locations like Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, etc.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Any bachelor’s degree with relavant experience.
- Experience required: 1-3 years
- Techincal Experstise (must have): Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, Basic knowledge of AWS, dashboarding tools and slide design
- Soft Skills (must have) : Quality focus, tructured problem solving, verbal & written commuincation (since we are part of a client team) and must be a team player
- Business expertise: Understanding and prior experience in US pharma industry and related data sets & operations, along with good Incentive compensation
- Advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation.
- Data modeling, ETL processes, and database concepts.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to root cause analysis.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, and tools like Excel/Power BI.
- Good communication for requirement gathering and stakeholder interaction.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and Agile methodologies is a plu

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze business requirements; develop data solutions and reports.
- Write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and perform data validation.
- Support ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI tool stacks (SSIS/SSRS/Azure).
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain documentation, reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Collaborate with teams for data migration, integration, and quality assurance.
- Present insights to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.
