Job Description:

This is an entry-level (IC1 / Level 1) technical support position in Oracle’s Support organization. The primary focus is delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers. You act as a customer advocate, handling technical and functional issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 0–2+ years of experience in technical/customer support, IT services, help desk, or related fields.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle customer-facing situations professionally.

Preferred/Helpful Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle products (databases, cloud services, applications, or industry-specific like Health/EMR).
  • Knowledge of SQL/databases, scripting, operating systems (Linux/Unix), networking, or ticketing/monitoring tools.
  • Customer service orientation and familiarity with ITIL or support processes.
  • For some roles: US citizenship (due to client/government contracts) and security clearance eligibility.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
  • Investigating and resolving client issues through front-end analysis, user shadowing, workflow testing, and back-end troubleshooting (e.g., logs, database queries, server cycles).
  • Managing service requests/tickets, escalating complex issues, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Participating in on-call rotations (including evenings/weekends/holidays for critical issues).
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
