Qualifications & Skills :
- Currently pursuing a undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
- C programming skills
- Familiarity with assembly language programming
- Knowledge of software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Software Development for Embedded Systems: Write and test firmware and low-level software in C for microcontrollers and processors designed by Texas Instruments.
- Assembly Language Programming: Work with assembly-level code to optimise performance-critical routines on TI processor architectures.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure correct interfacing between software layers and silicon peripherals.
- Test & Validation: Develop test scripts and validation frameworks to verify correct operation of software on TI development boards and evaluation kits.
- Bug Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate software defects, trace issues through hardware registers and memory maps, and propose fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, concise technical documentation including design notes, test results, and software specifications for internal use.
