Job Description:
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to join GE HealthCare as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Bengaluru (Bangalore). The role is based in the Manufacturing & Logistics function and is designed to give you hands-on exposure to real-world operations in the medical technology industry. As a GET, you’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting production processes, quality improvement, lean initiatives, and day-to-day operational activities. It’s a structured trainee program that helps you build technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills while contributing to the making of advanced healthcare equipment.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial, or related fields from a recognized university.
- Batch: Typically open for recent graduates (2024–2026 batches).
- Experience: 0–1 year (freshers preferred).
- Key Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in engineering concepts and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of Lean principles, quality tools, and problem-solving techniques.
- Basic knowledge of equipment calibration, validation activities, and production line support.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve quality issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Support day-to-day manufacturing and production activities in the plant.
- Resolve quality issues on the production line and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of all equipment as per schedule.
- Participate in lean initiatives and help drive process improvements across operations.
- Assist in validation activities, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth production flow.
- Actively participate in training programs to build expertise in manufacturing excellence and quality systems.
- Track and report on operational metrics and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
