Job Description:
The Engineer – SSD Software (or similar titles like Staff/Senior Engineer – SSD Software) at IQVIA Technology is a software-focused engineering position in the SSD (Solid State Drive) product line. These roles are often based in Hyderabad, Telangana or Bengaluru, Karnataka, India—super convenient if you’re in Bengaluru!
Qualifications & Skills :
Technical Skills: MS SQL, Python, Analytical Skills, Databricks, Snowflake, Basic cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS).
– Looking for candidate with basic understanding of JavaScript, client – server architecture.
– Hands-on in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, understand performance optimization
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Flexibility to work in US EST Time zones to support client requests
– Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
– Candidates should be flexible and working in shifts. (During internship general/UK shift/Night Shift).
Good to have:
– Working knowledge of designing and implementing any programming languages.
– Candidate with SQL Certification is a plus
– Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures

- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures to pull data, troubleshoot problems, or support client needs.
- Supporting product usage—explaining features, fixing data-related queries, or guiding on best practices.
- Working in shifts (flexible, including nights/US EST alignment) to ensure timely client support.
- Continuously learning about the products, tools (like Databricks/Snowflake), and improving your technical skills.
- Collaborating with project teams or other advisors to escalate or resolve complex cases.
