Job Description:

Visa frequently conducts off-campus drives and early career hiring for SW Test Engineer positions, targeted at fresh graduates or those with minimal experience (0-6 months). These roles are often part of their broader early career programs, including rotational or fixed positions in operations, finance, risk, compliance, securities processing, fund accounting, or data analysis.

Qualifications & Skills :

Basic Qualifications: 0.6-2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree

Preferred Qualifications: 

0.6-2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Computer Science, or related technology/engineering discipline
Experience in developing the enterprise grade software products at scale
0.6-2 years of experience in software engineering with coding languages such as Java and related frameworks like SpringBoot
Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON
Experience with a Relational database and/or NoSQL database
Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven and Jenkins
Experience with streaming platform like Kafka
Experience with tools development, automation (CI/CD, Auto Deployment, System Availability, etc.), logging and monitoring.
Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React is a plus
Ability to write clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines
Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
