Job Description:

This is a full-time Software Design and Development position as a Java Full Stack Developer (with 1-4 years of experience) at SAP’s Asset Performance Management (APM) team in Bangalore, India. The role involves working on state-of-the-art software applications in a cloud-based solution that helps companies manage industrial assets through real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and AI/IoT integration. You’ll contribute end-to-end to scalable, secure SaaS products, focusing on clean code practices, collaboration with architects and seniors, and delivering high-quality features efficiently in an agile environment. The position emphasizes self-reliant development, automation testing, and continuous improvement in a hybrid work setup with 0-10% travel.

Qualifications & Skills :

Minimum of 1+ years of Experience with the design & development of scalable, secure, reliable and high-availability SaaS Products.
Experience in writing applications using modern JavaScript-based UI stacks and backend (Java, Spring Boot, Any DB)
Proficient in cloud and Java-based microservices/micro-frontend architectures.
Experience with design systems in UML annotations and ORM models and the latest tech stacks.
Proficient in writing applications using modern JavaScript-based UI stacks (UI5 would be an added advantage).
Proficient in cloud and Java-based microservices/micro-frontend architectures.
Strong in Problem-Solving, root cause analysis & managing tech debts.
Experience with performance profiling and tuning using Dynatrace or similar tools.
Proficient in development tools and practices such as Git workflows, Cloud Foundry ,Git Action, and CI/CD pipelines (BTP stack would be an added advantage)
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language.
Gen-AI/ML capabilities knowledge would be a plus.
Familiarity with agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban)

Roles and Responsibilities :

Work as a full stack developer for development of state-of-the-art software applications in SAP APM
Demonstrate responsibility for all tasks and ensure completion with good quality, in time delivery and efficiency
Apply clean code principles: execute code reviews, code inspections, unit testing, performance measurements and other quality tasks
Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way
Work closely with Architect, Senior Developers and other stakeholders to achieve effective design and code reviews
Author and execute effective automation tests
Author software design and technical documentation
