Qualifications & Skills :

  • Experience Level: Positions at this level require advanced knowledge and experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and coordinate lower-level specialists and manage a mixed team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong ability to share best practices, provide advice, and act as a single point of contact for complex matters.
  • Operational Oversight: Capability to coordinate daily operations and implement short- to medium-term activities.
  • Policy and Process Input: Ability to contribute to the development of policies, processes, and standards at a tactical and operational level.
  • General Human Resources includes work across multiple areas of HR including:
  • General HR program/policy development, administration, and compliance
  • Employee hiring, onboarding, termination, and records maintenance
  • Employee and labor relations and communications
  • Rewards program coordination and/or administration
  • Relocation services (domestic and international)
  • Immigration services
  • HR related training In some organizations, General HR may also be accountable for some or all of the following:
  • HR Business Partnership (consulting and coaching)
  • Mobility (strategy and design)
  • Staffing and Recruiting
  • Talent and Organization Performance

Roles and Responsibilities : 

  • General HR Functions: Work across multiple areas of HR, including:
    • Development, administration, and compliance of general HR programs and policies.
    • Employee hiring, onboarding, termination, and records maintenance.
    • Employee and labor relations and communications.
    • Coordination and/or administration of rewards programs.
    • Relocation services (domestic and international).
    • Immigration services.
    • HR-related training.
  • Additional Responsibilities (may vary by organization):
    • HR Business Partnership (consulting and coaching).
    • Mobility (strategy and design).
    • Staffing and recruiting.
    • Talent and organization performance.
    • Training and development.
    • Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Operational Coordination:
    • Coordinate daily operations and oversee the implementation of short- to medium-term activities within the team.
    • Provide input to policies, processes, and standards, with decisions being tactical and operational within a defined scope.
    • Manage a mixed team of Specialists and Support roles, with full employee lifecycle responsibility.
  • Leadership and Expertise:
    • Utilize advanced knowledge and experience to participate in or lead the development of new solutions/projects.
    • Share best practices and advice with co-workers in the professional area.
    • Generate own workload and outline directions for others.
    • Supervise and coordinate lower-level specialists, serving as the single point of contact for complex matters.
