Job Description:

The Workforce Analyst role at Unisys involves analyzing workforce data to support strategic HR decisions, forecasting staffing needs, and optimizing employee utilization. This position focuses on leveraging data analytics to improve workforce planning, performance metrics, and operational efficiency within a global IT services environment. The role reports to the HR Operations or Workforce Planning team and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven insights for talent management.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), SQL for querying databases, and visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data in simple, actionable terms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with remote and global teams.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

  • Responsible for managing the delivery for few clients. Delivery includes implementing the FSR (WFM) Cycle end to end.
  • Knowledge Enhancement
  • Focus on improvement areas by client for all FSR (WFM) metrics
  • Effective Coordination within all stakeholders
  • Initiatives that would improve the process/metrics for an account/Region
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data using tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) to identify trends in attrition, hiring, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain workforce forecasting models to predict future staffing requirements based on business growth, turnover rates, and project demands.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights on employee engagement, diversity metrics, and skill gaps to senior leadership.
  • Support talent acquisition and succession planning by providing data on recruitment pipelines and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams to align workforce strategies with organizational goals.
